About Collier
Awarded the title of “Florida’s Choicest City” by the New York Times, Naples is the county seat and largest city in Collier County, a thriving area on the west coast of Florida. A former fishing village, Naples has grown into a popular luxury resort destination but still has a strong connection to its historical roots. The variety of home styles in Collier County ranges from turn-of-the-century cottages to large beachfront luxury estates, and the lush environment and lovely waterfront offers plenty of picturesque scenes populated by gorgeous plant life, manatees and exotic birds. Collier County is also home to two major land reserves, the Everglades National Park and the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, and a number of great fishing spots. Along with being a beautiful destination, Naples is the cultural center of Southwest Florida, leading many talented artists and musicians to populate the area. The main reason people choose the Collier County area, though, will always be the wonderful luxury lifestyle it provides, with impressive homes, shops, economic vitality, great schools, fabulous neighborhoods, amazing beaches, a tropical climate, and more golf holes per capita than any other community.
